LRT Misadventures

I spontaneously tagged Elaine to go with me at Gateway to buy some blank DVD's. We went there via train...and this is where all the misadventures and kasabawan happened.

LRT Misadventure #1: Buying a Ticket

at Katipunan LRT Station...

Via: Uy, wala akong barya. Doon na lang ako bibili sa may window.

*pointing at Passenger Assistance Office*

Via: Kuya, isang ticket po.

Kuya: Saan?

Via: uhhhh... Katipunan?

Kuya: Libre na 'yan!

Via: *straight face... LOADING*

Via: *natauhan* Waaah. Sorry, Kuya. Sa... (saan na nga ba ako?) sa Araneta po. Wahaha.

Sabay kuha sa ticket at takbo.

LRT Misadventure #2: Going Home

at Araneta Center-Cubao LRT Station...

Via: Nakakapagod.

Elaine: Uy, ayan na yung tren. Ang bilis ah.

*walks to the train*

Via: In fairness, walang masyadong tao. Tingnan mo 'yung kabila, ang dami. Grabe.

Elaine: Oo nga. Parang medyo kakaiba lang na walang tao ngayon.

*before the train stops to the next station*

Train operator: Next station, Betty Go-Belmonte. Ang susunod na istasyon ay Betty Go-Belmonte.

Via + Elaine: *exchanging weird looks with big eyes* Holy crap. Nasaan tayo?

Via: Tae. We rode the wrong train.

Elaine: Sabaaaaaaw.

Via: Hala, malelate na tayo dun sa play sa school.

Elaine: Paano ba tayo babalik ng Katipunan.

Via: Bahala na. Saan kaya papasok? Magtanong na lang tayo sa guard.

at Betty Go-Belmonte station...

Via: Whoaaaah. Saan tayong lugar liliko? Ang daming hagdan dito. NASAAAN YUNG PAPUNTANG SANTOLAAAAN!

Elaine: It's over. Ang sabaw kasi natin.

*walks toward the train now labeled Train to Santolan and headed back to Katipunan*
