Pasto, Greenhills

It was one random Saturday night and I just got back in Katipunan. People were texting me on going out since I haven't been around for a long time already. And, of course, knowing we got J-Con in company...we just decided to have a food trip in Greenhills. We ended up eating at Pasto, just in front of the Greenhills Theater Mall open parking.

SULIT RATING: Average
Price: P200-350/serving

Their menu consists of Italian food with above average price. Although we'd be sacrificing our wallets for this, the pasta is really good. It's just a matter of choosing what you want on your pasta. As for our case, our keywords were sun-dried tomatoes (for Alvin) and tomato-based (for me).

The pizza we ordered was Pollo Pepperoncini, topped with grilled chicken, roasted bell peppers, caramelized onions, oregano and pepperoncini. Pretty weird for a pizza to have chicken on top but it tastes really good and new to my taste buds. Sulit man, J-Con, also recommends ordering their bottomless raspberry iced tea. Apart from being bottomless, they have the best-tasting iced teas. SULIT. Here are some of our individual orders.

GAMBERI ROSA
Fettuccine with shrimps and zucchini in a light mascarpone sauce.

ORTAGGI
Capellini with basil pesto sun dried tomatoes and pine nuts

GENOVESE
Capellini with shrimps, arugula, pesto and pine nuts in a tomato-cream sauce
