Fitting you with weapons in the form of words...

This Ain't A Scene, It's A Goddamn Arms Race Fall Out Boy

'Twas one Thursday afternoon, we weren't able to watch the game live because of another boring Ma21 class that we really cannot take if we'd cut it. Though she dismissed us early for "game-watching purposes," wala talaga, eh.

We ended up watching the totally intense basketball game of Ateneo and La Salle in one of the corners of the college cafeteria, upstairs. Even if the television was facing sideways against us, because we were seated on this empty area where there's not much of a bunch of people. [And those people who clustered themselves in front of the television.]

And because there were no more chairs, the tables entered the scene. It was getting very dark, and the mosquitoes were, as usual, devouring on my blood. But the insides in me are just screaming...
It's not red blood, it's... ugh.. BLUE?
We bleed blue blood.
I felt the school spirit wandering around the college cafeteria. Even caf-down was filled with a great number of people, including teachers. Kahit na hindi kami naririnig ng players, todo-todo pa rin ang mga efforts ng tao sa pagsigaw. [Okay, I admit, nakisigaw din ako in the end, noong part ng overtime.] Nandoon kami, sa buong cafeteria, kahit magkahiwalay ang dalawang TV sa baba at sa itaas... iisa ang isinisigaw:
Go Ateneo! One big fight!
Our only weapons in the form of words, support. And finally, when the game was concluded.. echoes of 80-77 were heard. BLUE rejoiced in victory.
