The BE Theory

THEORIES ARE OPEN TO CHANGES/EDIT/WHATEVER.
THAT’s WHY IT IS CALLED A THEORY.

#1 Freaking Boy Instincts Theory

Women have been known to have instincts. Is it possible for men to have one, too?

We think everyone has this kind of thinking. Minsan kasi alam mo lang talaga. Iyong tipong… ‘yun-na-’yun-PERIOD. Hindi mo aakalain na meron pala sila ng word na iyon — INSTINCT. [It] is the inherent disposition of a living organism toward a particular behavior. Instincts are unlearned, inherited fixed action patterns of responses or reactions to certain kinds of stimuli. Innate emotions, which can be expressed in more flexible ways and learned patterns of responses, not instincts, form a basis for majority of responses to external stimuli in evolutionary higher species, while in case of highest evolved species both of them are overridden by actions based on cognitive processes with more or less intelligence and creativity or even trans-intellectual intuition.

Probably it is just them, being human, to respond to the environment. No one can take a gut feeling. It is inevitable, but all the more, question what guys have in their brains and heart.

#2 Master of Hints Theory

Is it the way the girls talk and giggle or is it just them being aware of our every move? (For stalkers, it probably is a different thing.)

Girls have this tendency to be giggly when around her girlfriends, which definitely attracts attention. Who wouldn’t look if hot girls are talking about something? And doesn’t the way the girls move give away something? Is it the way we tuck our hair behind our ears? Or is it the way we keep on looking at the same direction? Maybe, it’s how the girls smile. Probably, it is the way we treat other people (How you treat this kababata and how you treat this hot seatmate). Or the obvious reason, how we tease each other with just a nudge or a kick under the table. I don’t know but does being in touch with your emotional side give away that much information?

I know this is pushing the theory to its limit but would the frequency of women’s voice count? As compared to guys, we have higher voices. Probably, what we say is easier to hear as compared to what they say as their voices have lower frequencies.

For comparison: As for the guys, well what more can we say but they don’t give away what they are talking about with just one look. They may seem to be talking about sports, physics, anime and what-not but they are actually talking about the girl they have been dreaming about since the first day he laid eyes on her. Or maybe, they are talking about the latest scandal.

Women have been known to gossip. Men are the creators of the word gossip.

#3 Slip of the Tongue Theory

Revealing information accidentally means one thing. It is the truth. (Recall Freudian slips, well excluding the sexual annotation) This is the battle of the conscious and the subconscious. From what we have learned in Psychology, the subconscious, or the hidden part of the iceberg, knows what the truth is before we are aware of it. Sometimes it may appear stupid, but it is the truth. We are just scared of admitting it to ourselves.

Incident:

Verdict: There is no argument that this theory contributes to the wonders of the boys’ knowledge/

#4 Fishermen Theory

Humans are plain curious beings, even more curious than a cat. We seem to be never satisfied with just knowing something. We always have to learn something MORE. It is in our nature that we ask and ask. Did I mention ask never ending queue of questions? It is the WANT TO KNOW that drives a man to ask a question. But sometimes, you dislike being obvious of your intentions. This is when the term “fishing” was born. It is the unsubtle subtle way of getting an answer. This includes:
- May boyfriend ka na ‘no!
- Mataas ka sa long test ‘no! ‘A’ si *toot!

In line with this, fishing for information somehow distorts or exaggerates the truth. All because of ASSUMPTIONS.

When you ASSUME, you make an ASS out of U and ME.

Assumptions are not always true. If not, well then, verify them. That’s the way it goes. They are fishermen fishing in the ocean.

#5 Ego Theory

Studies have shown that men are more confident than women. I cannot agree more. Gusto niya palaging sabihin na parang "in your face." Parang ang usual nun sa lalaki no? Actually, it's not usual because it really exists among them. We're not being sexist here because that is just the sad truth.

Let’s face it. Makapal ang mukha ng ibang mga tao. Pakapalan na talaga ito ng mukha. Feeling!
